Michelle B. Eason-Delhougne, MD, FACP, FAAP, a native of Colorado, is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Pediatrics physician with more than 20 years of clinical and leadership experience. She graduated cum laude from Boston College in 1993 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, completing a Scholar of the College capstone on chromatin assembly and histone methylation. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1997, receiving the Mary Freeman and Tom Dooley awards, and completed her combined Internal Medicine–Pediatrics residency in 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital and Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona where she served as Chief resident her last year of training.
Dr. Eason-Delhougne has served as a hospitalist, primary care and urgent care physician, and medical director across multiple sites. She is the owner of SlainteCare LLC, a physician consulting firm focused on helping healthcare organizations and other providers improve quality, strengthen systems of care, and elevate the overall standard of care within the community. Dr Eason-Delhougne is a proponent of evidence based as well as personalized care and has supplied medical oversight to US Mobile IV since its inception ensuring safe, effective care for their clients.
